I found the flavors at this establishment to be reminiscent of the comforting dishes I grew up with in New York. The balance of taste, freshness, and portion size stood out to me compared to other dining options.

Have purchased takeout often over many years. Food quality is hit and miss, at best.
What, slowly, dawned on me is the fact that owners absolutely hate Americans.
This was supported as I got to know their delivery people, who they pay nothing to, that told me they hold Americans in the lowest regard.
When I thought about it I began to realise that was why their children, who ring up most all orders, absolutely refuse to engage in ANY conversation beyond one's order. You ask them how they are feeling, how school is going (they are all there from after school until closing) and they look at you as if you have three heads and brush off any answer.
When they discoverd I as a retired Army officer (over hearing a conversation between myself and another patron) they got even more distant and distainful.
I fought for the right to have their opinion in my country. They are even allowed their hateful prejudice......
And I am allowed to find more respectful people to patronize.
