I've had the best steak of my life at this restaurant, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Although there may be a wait during busy weekends, the food is absolutely worth it. From the delicious cowboy steak to the mouthwatering chicken, every visit has left me eager to return for more!

Myself and gentlemen sitting next to me called wait staff over to talk about over cooked steak. She look at them and said looks ok to me and did nothing. We also asked to get onion rings with meal. Waitress quoted 6.00. Menu said 7.00. She charged 8.00 and would do nothing to fix it. This was for a birthday party of 35 people and they did not help at all. Will not go back and will tell others.

We had not been there for a couple of years and decided to try it again with 2 other couples. NOT GOOD! Most of us ordered the Cowgirl steak which was paper thin. Waitress never brought us bread. Will never go back!

Always order the Cowboy and the Wife orders the Cowgirl...Great steak....Its a Steakhouse folks and if your really hunger do the six pound challenge...hahaha. Love the Steaks.

The online menu has NOT been updated....BIG price increases. It was OK, but not worth the price. If you get a salad, get the dressing on the side, unless you like it drenched.

Oh, I'm so upset! First of all,are they kidding me with all this decor? I know this place is located in the woods, but come on, wooden paneling? We pulled up and saw a cow in the pasture! I said Bernie, get me outta here. We went in anyways. The inbred staff didn't know if the food was Kosher or not. I order my steak ultra-rare with all the trimmings, when it came out, can you believe it was still bloody. I said, get that outta here, what am I a lion? All and all the food wasn't bad, but the staff, "oi vey!"

Our family has been eating here for years, I have been to major steakhouses including, Berns, the Palm etc, the meat here is excellent, sides are good, appetizers so so - somwhat hit or miss but meatlovers should find the Frontier Steakhouse a palate pleasing place for a down home meal

What a rip-off. I went there for the first time because it was close to where I was. I wanted to order their Palomino Steak and Rice. The waitress/owner?? Said they were out of rice�. so I ordered the chicken salad with grilled chicken. The other person in our party ordered a Cuban sandwich. When the meals came to the table, my salad consisted of two small pieces of grilled chicken and a handful of lettuce and a couple of tomatoes. The other meal, the Cuban sandwich, had the same amount chicken and the same amount of lettuce as my salad. The Cuban cost 6.00 dollars less than the salad. First and last time eating at this place for me.

We've been going to this place for years and have recommended it to family as well as friends. All keep going back. The portions are just right. The meat is excellent. Love that it has a quieter atmosphere so you can actually talk to one another instead of yelling like in most places. Great for groups. If you are planning a birthday party, etc... Also, love that when it's just 2 of you ---you have your own space. Most places have the seating crammed together so you're sitting right on top of annoying person at the next table that is blowing their nose. Frontier has their seating spaced out a little more than most so you have some elbow room and there isn't anyone sneezing or coughing on you. Excellent place.

Heard great things about this place, so wanted to go. Service left a lot to be desired. Can't substitute veggies for salad (but you can sub them for your potato, who wants 2 veggies and no starch?). Ordered my steak as rare as possible, raw. Came back medium rare. When I asked for a replacement, the kitchen "taught me a lesson" by giving me a rare steak that was fresh from the fridge, ice cold from end to end. It was great flavored meat, but who wants to eat meat that is right out of the refrigerator? The only lesson they taught me last night was not to bother going back. I will say that the meat was excellent. My daughters got stip steak and top sirloin and my husband and I got filet. You could really taste the difference between the different meats, something I've never been able to do anywhere else. The orange wood really gives it a great flavor too. Really too bad that such good meat is ruined by such spiteful and poor service. We will not be going back.

My wife and I live in Brandon and have eaten here many times.We have had family get togethers here for birthdays and other special events. The food is excellent. We recommend Frontier Steakhouse to anyone who wants an excellent steak dinner.
