My husband and I love visiting Pope's for breakfast, where the pancakes come with real butter and the atmosphere takes me back to the old diners of my childhood. The friendly staff and flavorful food, especially the burgers and homemade mashed potatoes, keep us coming back for more - it's a true local treasure!

Lived in Shelbyville for 2 years now. did not know Popes was so close to home. WE got there almost a closing time and the service was GREAT. Best home cooked meal in town. Everyone should try it out, You can't go wrong.
