Love the food. Eat there once a year, and also visit the Amish. To buy fresh vegetables. Great place to visit.

I found this place on the internet when planning a day outing for my husband's 78th birthday. The food was outstanding! Mid-afternoon dinner there on a Friday was easy and perfect after visiting the James Vaughn Museum of Southern Gospel Music and doing some shopping at Amish farms in the area.

Best Brisket anywhere East of Texas. Well worth the drive from anywhere! You haven't had REAL brisket 'till you've tried Texas Brisket from Shaffer's in Summertown Tn. The fine folks at Shaffer's will load you up!
