This destination offers a wonderful experience for outdoor enthusiasts, featuring a clean lodge and a well-maintained restaurant. The swimming beach, picnic areas, and fishing spots enhance the enjoyment, especially during quieter weekdays in the summer, and the friendly staff, including Mitzi at the front desk, contribute to making visits memorable.

The Greenfield High School Class of "71" reunion was held on Saturday Sept. 3 at the Hotel restaruant. Classmates and their guess which consisted of approximately 25 people were told to be there by 5:00 P.M. in order for everyone to be seated together in the dining area. Everyone in the group were there on time. We were told that there was another group which consisted of 40 people were to be there at 5:30 P.M. to be seated after our group. The 5:30 group were seated before us. Our class reunion group had to wait approximately 2 hours before being seated. Classmates did not get to sit together as one group but were seated at different tables, It was around 8:30 P.M. before most of us got our food. The white beans that were on the catfish order were brought out first and were cold before we got our catfish plates. The big catfish fillets were very salty and not very good. They only brought out just a few pieces of bread as appetizers and said that they had ran out in addition to ketchum. We were told by the "so-called smartass manager" that they had mistakenly placed the 40 person group in front of our group. The waitresses that were serving us were doing the best they could and were very apologetic for all the inconvenience. With all the waiting time out in the bar area and after getting our food 3 1/2 hours later did not set well with everyone in our group. This place will not be recommended to anyone due to poor management and the food service!

Recently tried the new restaurant on a night that was not very busy. The hostess was not busy but it took 10 minutes to be seated. Waitress put in wrong food order. After waiting an hour, got the wrong order. Sent it back. 15 minutes later she brought out the right order but the food was cold. Sent back again. After another 15 minute wait the food was barely lukewarm and dried out. Waitress offered us one banana pudding for HER mistake. Will not be back
