Been eating at Beef and Barrel sent it first opened . When it change hands the food has went down hill. The last two times we place a order to go the food wasn't fit to eat?

we have been to many of the restaurants in crossville (we have moved here 2 1/2 years ago) and Beef and Barrel is the only restaurant we found that we liked so far. all though we did find one mexican rest. that we also liked. the beef and barrel have good food although i ordered the fried clams strips once and i did not like them at all. but everything else i have ordered on their menu has been outstanding and the prices are good

Place was 3/4 full at 4:30 on friday.service ,great fast.salad crisp fresh,brown bread hot fresh.clam strips hot crisp not greasy,chicken fried steak hot crispy,good pepper gravy,prices good..will go back best time to judge a restaraunt when its jumping and parking lot is full.

I was very disappointed in the change of the quality of the shrimp. We have enjoyed the lightly breaded fried shrimp for several months and when we ate at the restaurant yesterday, the shrimp was nothing like our 'old favorite'. The service continues to be EXCELLENT, but I will have to find another item on the menu to replace my craving for fried shrimp.
