My husband stopped in today 11/15 to have lunch. The daily menu was sourkraut and weiners, & pot roast. My husband had the potroast lunch and it was good but I got a small bowl of weiners and a spoon of kraut. My sides were pinto beans (two sppons in a very small bowl) and fried apples I was very disappointed in my meal. Left most of it because I didn't just order weiners, I wanted a little kraut with them. I didn't have enough beans for a taste. Hopefully they will see this and do better on their dinner menus.

Davy Crockett was amazing!!! I ate there for the first time two weeks ago, and I have been back several times since then. The food is great, and the menu has something for everyone. I have tried the hamburgers, the chicken tenders, and the sirloin tips. Each cuisine was wonderful, not to mention the prices are unbelievable. You can feed a family of four for under $20. And finally, our waitress was speedy and very friendly. We did not have to wait long for our food, and we also had amazing service. I would recommend this restaurant to all families!

I tried this place for the first time today -- lunch with a couple co-workers. Had a BLT on grilled Texas Toast, homemade onion rings and peach cobbler.
They serve simple, yummy comfort food. They bring it to you quick and hardly charge more than you'd pay for fast food.
I like it!
