What an amazing dining experience! Our gracious hostess made us feel right at home. The variety of dishes, from the fried okra to the Jack Daniels apples, was exceptional and truly showcased the best of southern cuisine.

Delicious food. I especially loved the baked apples. We bought a cookbook in the gift shop just to fix the apple recipe. Vivian was a Great Hostess and plenty of food available. Loved the atmosphere and history plan to visit again and the distillery.

The menu needs to be up to date may be I just can't find it..I always book trying to catch the cat fish and always miss it...

Miss Mary BOBO's was a step back in time wonderful experience! The hostess was very warm and welcoming and even told us the history of Miss Mary BOBO's and how it all came to be. The food was delicious. We had pork roast with gravy, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, tomato casserole and you must try the pies. The house and the grounds were amazing. Loved the old phonograph that play"¦ "Some Where Over The Rainbow! Treat yourself to a beautiful experience!❤️

The food is Great!

My only question is why does the restaurant play '70s-'80s hits as background music? Should it not be music relative to the time period they are attempting to celebrate? Early 1900s? It used to be that way. Whoever made the decision to change needs a history lesson!

Very small menu and food is average. I could have cooked myself or gotten same fried chicken at KFC. We were there at the beginning of the day and with limited memo already they had vegetables marked though to say they didn't have. Very disappointed

MY HUSBAND AND I JUST VISITED THE JACK DANIELS DISTILLERY THEN HAD LUNCH AT MARY BOBO'S. IT WAS FANTASTIC. WE DINED ON CATFISH, PORK, GREENS, BEANS, FRIED OKRA, GREEN CHILI/RICE CASSEROLE, COOKED APPLES, AND CHESS PIE FOR DESSERT. IT WAS ALL SERVED UP COUNTRY STYLE WHILE OUR HOSTES GAVE US HISTORICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE TOWN OF LYNCHBURG.

My husband and I spent an afternoon having "Dinner", we call it lunch, after touring the Jack Daniels Distillery. The meal was absolutely amazing. We were served Roast Beef, Catfish, Fried Okra, Creamed Potatoes, Green Beans, Corn, Coleslaw, and more. The Pecan Pie was incredible. You should visit if you can!
