The Plumtree Restaurant in the Colonial Heights section of Kingsport, TN has undoubtably the best Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese food in Kingsport and perhaps in all the Tri-Cities. This is no fill-em-up-fast buffet. The food is chef-prepared when you order and is definitely worth the wait. They've been at their location for a number of years and have quite a faithful following. The Orange-Flavored Beef, Mongolian Beef and Peking Duck are gastronomical masterpieces. I've eaten there for years and never had even a mediocre meal. Highly recommended!

My experience at the Plum Tree resteraunt was wonderful, even though the service took a long time to get to my table! Also, there is a fountain inside it and the food is wonderful (try the sesame chicken).
