Truly good homemade food. A little pricey now compared to several years back when they where a real local eatery. The son is being groomed to run the place. Sherly, the heart and soul of the place, makes you feel at home!! It has lost it's family charm. The parking lot looks like WalMart at times with tags from NC and all counties around. If you like big crowds and good cooking, bring your VISA (etc) and come over to our neighborhood.

This is the best restaurant in the local area. The food is cooked daily and is fresh. One can eat "family style" and get several meats (fried chicken breast, boneless; country ham; or roast beef) and a variety of vegetables served in bowls and refilled upon request. I get the plate as I don't want to be tempted to eat too much. On the plate one gets one meat, 3 vegetables, rolls or cornbread and a drink. Servings are large and it is too much to eat and not gain weight. Service is very good and cost is reasonable. On weekends they have live music sometimes from local bands. It is a great place to take the family! Service with a smile.
