Today was the 3rd and final time I will ever patronize the Texas RoadHouse in lufkin!
First time it was new, so, I knew they had to work the kinks out. Second time, steak was tough, and today..waited 30 minutes to be seated (no issue), we was seated and after about 15 minutes, not one server acknowledged us. I ask a manager if anyone could help us and there was 7, yes 7, servers bickering over who was up next to wait on that section. I spoke to the manager and expressed my issues and he just looked at me and never said a word and we just left!
We then went to the Outback, seated immediately and had the best server!
The outback food was amazing!
Blooming shrimp was awesome and the steak was the absolute best!

We ordered a drink before our dinner on 07/12/17. Almost immediately a waitress brought a blooming onion and sat it on the table. We explained we had not ordered this and she tritely said: "Just kidding", picked it up and left. We ordered a chicken fried chicken dinner and two sirloin dinners. The chicken dinner was brought out minus the sirloins. By time the chicken dinner was 99.9% eaten, our waiter came by and looked quite perplexed. Apparently our dinners were given to another diner. He said he would place another order for the sirloins. We declined because that would require the person who had completed eating to wait while the order was turned in, the sirloins were cooked, and then for us to eat. I asked for the bill. A manager/hostess came to the table and profusely apologized, offered us dessert, and some type of coupons which were declined. I signed my check, left the coupons on the table and left. Lesson learned here: should have eaten the blooming onion they brought by mistake. At least I wouldn't have had to stop at McDonald's for a fish filet sandwich.
