The cafe is known for its outstanding food, great customer service, quiet and kid-friendly atmosphere, large portions of well-prepared quality dishes, over-the-top desserts, warm and welcoming ambiance, attentive and friendly staff, and overall excellent dining experience that keeps visitors coming back time and time again.

I'm 73 and owned my own family restaurant.I eat at the lumber yard to night .I ordered the half portion of their chicken fried steak .The worst I've ever had 3/4 breading I've had more meat on a single McDonald's burger .I complained to the server oh well checking out I confronted the manager and was told oh we have good chicken fried steak, stuffed potato and that thing they had the nerve to call a chicken fried steak 2 drinks allmost $29.00

We have been going there for many years and it is one of our favorite places. We'll that is till recently. New owners have disappointed us. Quality of food is no longer "good food" . Sometimes we get fish under cooked and chicken strips over cooked. My husband complained while paying and the girl apologized. The owners wife was standing there and clearly was ignoring him. This is no longer one of our favorite places to eat. Will be finding somewhere else sadly.

Their chicken fried steak is mostly breading. I was disappointed in the service as well.
