The Italian restaurant I visited recently offered delicious food and attentive service, making for a satisfying experience. I enjoyed a massive Stromboli packed with flavor, along with some fantastic homemade rolls and butter that were hard to resist. Despite the basic decor and occasional service delays, the friendly staff and excellent menu choices ensure I'll be returning soon!

I found this Italian restaurant in Hamilton, and the food was fantastic. The Stromboli I had was a monster of cheesy goodness, and the homemade rolls they served were a nice touch. Despite a bit of a wait for service, the overall experience was solid, and I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu!

Giovanni's has good food. But here's the hitch, the service is terrible. We waited over an hour after ordering a small pizza. It was 15 minutes of waiting just to get the order in. I am very patient, but when the hour was up, I asked a waitress where our pizza was. There was an apology and in about five minutes it arrived....not hot. It has cooled to the point that the cheese has become rubbery. Not a good outcome. Under normal circumstances, in other establishments, should I have waited that long, there would be no charge along with an apology. Certainly the waitress did not get a tip. I would expect the waitress to advise me of the reason for the wait. While it may not be her fault, if the kitchen has a problem, she could have come by and said something, but that did not happen. -As I said, Giovanni has good food, but that's the best I can say. Sadly, this is not the first time slowness has been part of the failed service. Add to that the unkempt dinning area and the lack of suitable air conditioning, this will most likely be the last time we visit. And that's too bad, since there are only a few places open in this little town on Sundays. If they added staff and sped up the kitchen efforts that would be a real improvement. Giovanni's web sight is quite misleading.. Sorry folks, just how we see it.

The foods is good, but good luck on getting the phone answered for ordering take out!!!
