we have dined at Tokyo Express many times. it seems that the food is not keeping up with the talk. we visited on 2/11/2025 and expected to have a good meal. we were disappointed. first, we ordered tea and received 2 cups of warm water and 2 tea bags for $3.25 each, with no offers on refills. we ordered our meals. I ordered large shrimp, and my wife ordered scallops with noodles instead of rice. when the meal was served, the carrots were cold on both platters. the thing known as flavor was missing on most of the items on the plate. the broccoli had more flavor than the scallops. when I paid for the meal, I noticed that the noodle upgrade from rice now cost an extra $3.75. In total the meal cost $48.01 with tax. We probably will not dine here again and will warn our friends.

Food tasted like rubber. Staff was too busy messing around with each other. My dog would not eat it.

Like any new restaurant in Greenville they were bombarded early but yesterday had great service food was Great. List them as a fantastic new attraction to our town!
