I am a firm believer in great customer service and although I can definitely say that during my repeat visits, all of the waitresses who served me have been very pleasant. However, recently I have been very cautious and weary about going out to eat because of the pandemic and this is one of my favorite places to eat because the tables are so spaced out. My disappointment, though it might not be a major issue to anyone, is that I recently found out that they started charging for the order of chips and salsa after the first order. I'm okay with prices changing because of the pandemic, but to charge for something as small as the chips and salsa was very disappointing to me. I drive about 20 minutes away just to eat there only to find out that they started charging for any orders of chips and salsa after the first order when I have several restaurants near me that I can go do, but choose not to go to because of tight sitting arrangements, and come to find out that they decided to charge because to my knowledge, the owner told the waitresses that she also pays for the chips (merchandise) and does not appreciate that people order them only to let them go to waste. I can truly understand that no one wants to see their hard earned money go to waste, but also know that people enjoy little things such as this appetizer as well. For this reason, I will no longer visit this establishment.
