great food and service

The food is good though service wasn't good we waited an hour for the cook to make our food. Waitress forgot to put in side orders and was sitting down instead of checking on what we needed.

We ordered take out tonight totally about $57 that turned out to be quite intensively underwhelming. The sushi did not have very strong flavor. The crab puffs were tiny. And non of the staff we witnessed were wearing masks. Mask mandate or not, this is a food place. Masks should be wore by staff always. This place used to be good. Sorry I won't be returning.

Love the food here (New Caney Shogun)! It's always excellent and the ambiance is great, especially in the evenings. I frequently order takeout online too. A wide selection of sushi and cooked cuisine, something for every taste! And the mud and mocha-chocolate ice cream pies are a delicious way to end your meal.
