Lucy’s Pie House & Grill in Sealy, Texas, is a delightful culinary gem that truly lives up to its name. From the moment you walk through the doors of this charming, renovated historical building, you’re greeted with a warm, nostalgic atmosphere that perfectly complements the delicious homemade food they serve.
The menu is a testament to the art of comfort food, with everything made from scratch. I started my meal with the Black Bean, Venison & Pork Sausage Soup, which was rich, hearty, and packed with flavor. For the main course, I couldn’t resist the Cowboy Steak—a massive 22oz Upper Choice US Black Angus steak that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was tender, juicy, and everything a steak lover could dream of.
The Choripan, a nod to Argentine cuisine with a Texan twist, was another highlight. The addition of jalapeño gave it a unique kick that elevated this classic dish. And of course, I couldn’t leave without trying one of their famous homemade burgers, served on a freshly baked bun. It was juicy, flavorful, and everything you want in a burger.
For dessert, I indulged in a slice of their Key Lime Pie, which was a perfect blend of tart and sweet, with a crumbly, buttery crust. I also tried their homemade ice cream—creamy, rich, and utterly satisfying.
Beyond the incredible food, the service at Lucy’s is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through Sealy, Lucy’s Pie House & Grill is well worth the visit. It’s the kind of place that leaves you feeling happy, full, and already planning your next trip back.
