good food and service

Duke's BBQ was very good when they opened, and for about a year or so after; but, it is not as good as it used to be. They no longer serve ham or okra, and the quality of the potato salad isn't as good either. Their ribs and sliced beef are good, or even the chopped beef. I live in Canton, so it's not hard to get there, and I won't stop buying food there, I'll just be getting sandwiches in the future.

The pulled pork sandwich with spicy sauce was delicious, but I didn't appreciate the 1/3 cup of large pieces of fat it contained. I put the fat on a clean napkin & showed it to the woman server at the cash register, with whom I'd had light banter conversation when ordering. She looked at me like I had two heads and offered neither an apology nor a comp item, either of which would have been apropos. I won't eat there again.
