My recent visit to Pinto Bean was enjoyable, with the food being a hit for everyone in our group. Despite the distraction of the Super Bowl pregame on TV, we had a pleasant dining experience. The portion size of the chicken fried steak was smaller than expected but still delicious. The coffee cups were on the small side, making it challenging to keep our cups filled, but overall, the service was satisfactory.

We had a memorable dinner there once and so returned this year for breakfast. It was bad. The eggs Mexicana tasted like they were scrambled with water. The hash browns came from the freezer, and we burped up the beans, heavy with lard. Yuk!

So last night we ordered take out, and I had a beef enchilada plate. Well 3/4 of the way thru my meal i took another bite of my beef enchiladas and bit down on a piece of pea gravel😡🤬!!! It broke my tooth into 3 pieces, and now am going to have to get expensive dental work done so I don't lose the entire tooth! Cheap beef obviously, or uncaring staff. Either way the meals were contaminated with foreign objects, as my friend ordered the same thing, and after I found the rock in mine he looked through his enchiladas and found one in his as well!
Needless to say I am LIVID about this, and there is most likely no way this restaurant will compensate me for my pain, suffering, or upcoming medical costs.
DON'T CUT COSTS WITH CHEAP MEATS AND PRODUCE AT THE EXPENSE OF LOSING CUSTOMERS, PINTO BEAN😡

Rude waitresses, sexually harassed me, harassed my mother and started talking sh!t to me for not speaking Spanish even though we live in the United States, where everyone speaks English. DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant.

We love, Love, LOVE Pinto Bean. The best Mexican food in Victoria. The staff is always so helpful and courteous and the food is always consistent.....DELICIOUS!
