My lunch buddy and I are trying out restaurants we haven't been to. My friend saw a review of La Tapatita so we decided to try it. It's a little further out of Austin but well worth the trip! We stopped in after the lunch rush around 2:00. They weren't that busy so the food was out very quickly. And awesome! So freshly made we had to wait for the food to slightly cool. Best quesadillas I've ever had. My friend's Chimichanga was gorgeous and tasted even better than it looked. Next time I'm going to order extra food to take home. And a bowl of their salsa. Super good. Can't wait to go back.

Worst service I've seen anywhere. I keep going back because I love the tacos this was like my 50th time going and they overcharged me again... Happened several times I was ignoring it at first but I refuse to do that now. So if you go make sure you look at your receipt after! Absolutely worst cashiering, serving, and everything else restaurants come with beside the street tacos. The one in (Leander by HEB)

I've been going there for a few. Customer service always friendly and knowledgeable. I don't know if cooks are new but the last few visits I noticed the food has gone from good to better.

All there food is delicious authenticity Mexican food. Mmmmmm good!
And there margaritas are a knock out!

Asked server four times for refill on salsa and she did not return and then asked for to go container and she just acted like she was bothered
