This place CLOSED sometime ago. It is now Chente Cafe, Mexican cuisine and was delightful. Close, just off I-20 and easy access back on, highly recommend. I had lunch special beef brisket enchiladas and my husband's tamale dinner was equally delicious!! My cousin had their Lunchito plate and it had a little bit of everything...she's a picky eater and loved it.

Delicious food, the atmosphere is.beyond measure and the staff is.an absolute delight. The pies.are out of this world delicious. Catfish, pie, coffee great friends. What could be better?

Love this place! Not only is the food delicious but it's such a quaint little restaurant by the river. We LOVE to eat there!

Yes this "WAS" the best catfish but it recently changed ownership and we stopped there 07-12-15 and the catfish was awful. We asked for extra crispy and it was not even done much less crispy. And on top of that there were brown fishy spots in the catfish which I pointed out the the waitress. We ordered pie and the waitress had to come back to our table 4 times each time telling us they were out of the pie we ordered. I am so dissapointed and I will say, we will not be back. I would venture to say they will loose long time customers!

The food is great prices are reasonable and the service is great. I tell everyone to go here. I even have family that drives from Cottondale Texas just to eat here.
