Wonderful dining experience! I lived in Hawaii and loved the food! It is one of the things that we miss the most. So when I found C&H, I immediately tried it and have not been disappointed. I do take often as I call it my comfort food, and for me that could end up being several times a week! The atmosphere is family and care, and that also comes through in the food. I recommend it without reservation.

On 3-10-15 I went into this restaurant and purchased a large Pepsi because I was waiting for headlight to be installed on my vehicle next door. The total was $1.94 of which I paid using my debit card. The charge appeared on my bank statement for $1.94 and showed it was "pending final amount from the merchant". This evening I checked my account while online paying bills and discovered the amount changed from $1.94 to $3.94. I immediately contacted my bank and was informed this restaurant charged an additional $2.00 tip onto my debit card! A dispute and fraud investigation has been opened by my bank and I was advised to file a police report against this establishment. This will be done as well tomorrow after I have a chance to call and speak with a manager. I am also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and writing my review on several online review boards, expressing my concerns and disappointment in this restaurant. I do not know why they did this and thought they could "get away" with this. Even my bank informed me if the establishment has a "minimum purchase" they would not have charged the first total of $1.94 and then an additional $2.00. They also informed me that the usual charge for not meeting a "minimum purchase" is between .25- .50 cents. NEVER is it $2.00.

I am highly disappointed and was actually quite interested in eating at this restaurant this weekend with my husband and brother because when I walked in the smell from the food was AMAZING, however I will not and will make sure to tell as many people I know to avoid using debit/credit cards here based on my experiences. SHAME ON YOU C & H HAWAIIAN GRILL!!!


I am requesting a full investigation by the BBB. They are currently under investigation with my bank's fraud department. A formal criminal investigation with the Killeen Police Department will be opened up as well when we file a police report for theft and fraud tomorrow.
