Located in Big Springs, this charming family-owned restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with a simple menu perfect for lunch or dinner. The prices are budget-friendly and the food is reminiscent of authentic Texan flavors, transporting me back to my roots in southeast Texas. The service was impeccable, with cold beers and delicious dishes like Chili con Queso and Cheese Enchiladas making for a memorable dining experience.

What the hell people?...... closed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday?..... realize you've made all the money you need but provide a decent, service oriented business and not open JUST when convenient for you.....but in all fairness, been here less than a year, and you're not the ONLY restaurant that does this.....this Big Spring experience has been a trip!

First time I have ever been in a restaurant that charged you water ***** First time I have been in a Mexican restaurant that charged you for salsa(that's after I asked the very nice waitress if you had a milder salsa than the original small bowl she brought) **8 Incidendentally, the bowl was about half the size of a small pudding bowl they used in school cafeteria's back in the 50's **** When I brought this to the attention of the cashier(who was also the owner) *** he immediately turned beligrant, sarcastic and hateful **** He basically told me that is the way it is and if I didn't like I sure didn't have to come back **** I told him that he did not have to worry about that and promised him I would never return. ***** BE WEARY, IF, YOU EVER DARKEN THIS RESTAURANT AND READ ALL THE FINE PRINT. **** he even charged tax on the glass of water**** A REAL CLASSLESS PLACE

Our experience with this restaurant was terrible.
We had no previous experience with this restaturant, and no biases.
The nearby motel front desk staff recommended the restaurant as having "good quality and inexpensive" mexican cuisine.
Although my wife and I had different dishes, we were both ill within a few hours of eating at this establishment. The entire next day, as we drove home after our vacation, we were both quite ill and had to stop frequently.
My assessment: The food quality was poor to bad, taste was bland, and it seemed apparent to us that food safety practices at the restaurant were not up to standards. My recommendation is don't take the risk, it's just not worth it!
