My friend Claudia and I went during lunch and had phenomenal stromboli and tasty calizone, along with an excellent malbec. We got up to the cash register feeling real good about ourselves and was informed that there was an additional 4% charge for credit card purchases. I then inquired where was that posted, and they couldn't show me anywhere it was posted, not on a menu, not on board, not at the cash register, etc.. I told them it is important to let people know and the waitresses were kind and stated they used to have a sign. We paid in cash and my friend stated she would ask the city what the policy was and we walked out. Mr. Catalano ran outside and told us the 4% was the credit card charges and I informed him it was 3%, he corrected me and stated it was 4% and I told him that was fine, just let customers know ahead of time. He then stated it was on the front door. I walked to the front door and there was no sign, he admitted he took it down and stated that "it's not my charge, its the credit card company" and his mannerism showed he was irritated, couldn't look you in the eye, fidgeting, etc. My friend then stated it appears that you charge who you want to the additional 4% and that is not fair. Not sure why they need to calculate on the calculator the charges, then punch them in on a different machine and I am completely perplexed as to why the additional charge isn't posted anywhere. If you want a great meal and great service just add at least 4% to the bill and you will still leave happy.

We have eaten here many many times and always find the food excellent! Would tell everyone to go and enjoy a fine meal with excellent service!! Keep ip the good work!

Don't go in a Friday night (actually before 5). Service sucks. I won't be coming back here. We have been waiting for our food for almost 40 minutes. If you don't have anything else to do except set and wait for your food this is the place for you.
