I went today and the best there was the lady that waitressed and took care of customers in dinning room. Shrimp was good. Out of baked potatoes, the cocktail sauce and tartar sauce tasted soured. Tea was like sugar water. I was there between 1-2 pm and won't ever make that hour trip again.

My stomach feels content and satisfied after a delicious meal at that spot in Paris we always visit. Whenever we pass through, it's a must-stop for our family. The catfish here is the best I've had, aside from my father-in-law's special recipe. The juicy fried chicken and generous portions keep us coming back for more every time.

In drive through...ordered chicken fried steak; asked for baked potato- with all the fixin's.
When I got home, plain baked potato....nothing to doctor it up with - no butter, sour cream, etc and no toast.
That did not make for a good meal.
Also ordered catfish, thin and crispy with extra tartar sauce.
When I got home, thick fish - which I will not eat - NO TARTAR SAUCE, no hush puppies....

This is the second time this has happened. I said nothing last time, but it is a pain - at the window, where I paid - which the price was nearly double the menu price - I asked the man at the register...."do I have all of the fixin's for the baked potato? Thin fish and extra tartar sauce. He replied: "It's all in the bag!!!" NOT!!!!
For a $20. "lunch" that stated it was $5.79 each on menu...that does not add up to $20....so at least give me some butter...tartar sauce.....duh

I've been a loyal customer for 6 years. Always great food and service. Lately however, the swevice has been lacking. No butter or sour cream for my baked potato even though i was asked if i wanted ketchup. I replied, no thankyou, but i would like butter for my baked potato. I got no butter, no sour cream, but 7 packets of ketchup. This has become the norm, and ipick up my dinner every Thursday on my way to work. I finally called about it and was told to come back and get some butter. Then the "manager" hung up on me. Done here.

we had a GREAT experience at catfish king Paris Texas, the food was great and the service was great also. we just move to Paris A year a go. we eat out a lot. Cat fish king has been the best yet. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORKS WE WILL BE BACK

We've eaten at the Catfish King Paris TX for many years and have never been disappointed! The food is good, the price is right and the service is wonderful. Room temperature is comfortable. A little noisy at times with conversation and two TVs going, but we're so absorbed in the food, we don't notice. A+!
