The staff at Cedar Tree Food is consistently friendly and the food is consistently excellent. The cleanliness of the restaurant always stands out as well. It's a great dining experience in Jasper that I would definitely return to.

Love this place. We drive a little over an hour to eat there. Have always had good food. Never disappointed.

The food on the buffet was the redeeming item of the visit, it was better than I expected to buffet food. Was seated in the back by the young lady at the entrance. Sat back there by myself for 6 minutes with my package of silverware wondering if there was any service. Grabbed my kindle and headed for the door. The greeter was in the aisle chatting with a customer so I asked her if the restraunt was buffet only. She gave me a menu and I returned to my table. I read the menu and decided I didn't have time to order. Went to buffet line and got a salad. I had eaten 3/4 of my salad before someone took my drink order. I finished my salad and had been in the place almost 1/2 hour before I got my drink. Overall a poor dining experience. My first visit will be my last visit. I saw everyone else get good service so I guess it's just not a good place for strangers.

New pricing for the buffet. Still tastes good, but to get the entire buffet, it is way to high.

I've had to problems at all at this place. Been there more than once. Service was fine, thought the food on the buffet was excellent.

Two stars was for food only. We went to buffet on a Sunday, straight up noon. The church crowd was in; busy time, but the wait in line not too long. It was the waitress, or the "seater" I'm complaining about. She was very discourteous; threw our flatware on the table and swished off before we could catch up with her, so I had to chase her down and ask her which booth was ours. (I guess we should have known, it had to be the one that didn't have any drinks on it yet, LOL! Once we were seated, another young lady got our drinks, and then we determined it was okay to stand in buffet line.
We did not feel welcome in the least, so I won't be gracing their doors again.

The worst fried catfish I've ever had. It looked okay when it was put on my table, but the taste was like rotten. Horrible. And, nobody asked if I would like a to-go box. I wouldn't have taken that garbage home, but it told me that nobody cared that there might be a reason I only took one bite of the catfish, and spit it out.

This was one of the worst places that I have ate at in a long time. Went with a group of 13 finaly got to order then 4 mother people came in after we had been there about 25 minutes then the other people got their order before us. They finaly bring our order out and when they get to the last lady that had ordered shrimp that they had run out and had to cook more. Well why did the other table get their order when they came in 20minutes after us will never go back to this place floor was dirty service sucked.

service was not very good our waitress was too busy flirting with a group of guys to worry about anything else. and the "catfish" they serve is not real catfish it is stripped panganise from vietnam . its ok but not catfish all the local resturants serve this fish because its cheap. real catfish is too expensive to make profit.
