The food and drinks came out quickly, and the atmosphere was warm and nostalgic, creating a wonderful dining experience. Our server, Tori, was friendly and attentive, ensuring we enjoyed every moment, especially the delicious catfish and onion rings that kept us coming back for more.

We called several times to tell them to expect a party of 14 at 7pm. It was a family celebration. They would not take any information down to be prepared. They tried to seat us at two separate tables. We pushed the tables together. WE drove from schertz to do this. Unfortunately we will not be back

Normally I have a good experience, but I disagree with the seating of a group of 6 that occurred this past Friday at approx 7:30pm. There was one larger group waiting outside for their table. Beyond that everyone was being seated immediately. One groups of us was coming from Seguin and the other group was from San Antonio. Coming from Seguin my drive was shorter and had chosen to get there at 7 with the other group showing at approx 7:30. We were informed that I would not be able to be seated until all the party was there. I explained I was going to order onion rings and drinks for the 3 of us that were there. I was told I had to order the drinks and rings to go and I could eat them outside. I explained that this made no sense since there was no wait. The hostess explained that it interrupted with the flow at the restaurant. Reluctantly, I ordered the food and drinks and had to pay right there at the hostess stand. After about 10 mins the rest of the group showed. We went to our table. After another wait of 10 mins at our table the rings showed up. Now, what would have been the difference if we waited at our table like I requested. It would not have been the flow, unless we got the rings before we got our seats. Not only did the hostess make our visit an unpleasant one being that she was snarky and rude, but Clear Springs has lost me as a customer.
