The long-standing restaurant in Castroville offers a variety of dining areas, including uncovered outside seating near the kids' play area, a partially open covered section, and an indoor room with an old, uneven floor, where friendly servers provide hometown food including a decent salad bar and standout nachos.

Always good food

I wouldn't even give the place 1 Star after the way I was treated last night After eating at Cora's for over 40 years (current owner is not the original owner), I will never go back again. My daughter was not allowed to join my table, the owner complained loudly that we were taking too long to finish our meal (we spent over $70). Both my daughter and I were treated very rudely by the "OWNER". The service is terrible and most of the food is mediocre at best. If you choose to eat here stick with nachos, chicken fried steak or enchiladas. Hermanson's Steakhouse in Hondo has much better food and I have never been disappointed with the service. I will not spend another dime at Cora's
