Welcome to Walburg, Tx. Now that you're here slow down. Nobody ever moved to or visited our home to be in a hurry.
Take a breath and relax. Choose something from the menu and visit. I strongly suggest getting the "yeah, that's really good too!" If you're working cows or just came to see"¦ this is the place to take a break. A ever growing number of visitors salt and pepper the residents. Just like everyone we can eat where we want to. Food is great, but service is only as good as server. Was asked to move not sit at a table twice. First time was told I had to order food to sit and listen to the band,we had just finished eating dropping 80 dollars inside,.The following week,we sat out side,same table ordered food ,it took forever, we finished.the band started late listend to ONE song ,when we were asked to move,again so someone else could sit there. Not my fault food took forever and band started late. So disappointing. Been going here for years. Shame on the lady who asked us to leave.Thats how it felt.

Some of the best home cooking since I left Louisiana. Sad that they don't have rice and gravy, gumbo or etouffe.
