Enjoyed a satisfying lunch in East Texas with a decent crowd on a Tuesday. The American fare was straightforward but tasty, and the service from our waitress was friendly and efficient despite the bustling atmosphere. The highlight for me was the delicious chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes, with a crispy breading and flavorful gravy that hit the spot perfectly.

Love this family oriented restaurant. Great food, wonderful service and a model clean environment. Would have gave it 6 stars but it wasn't offered. We eat here often.

We had takeout burgers, the cook should have been charged for animal cruelty for what he/she did to those patties. They were burned to a crisp. The chicken strips were cooked to a chocolate brown. I had mac and cheese, the 4 bites that were in the plate were mediocre. Over all it was so bad everyone only ate about half, we gave left overs to the dogs, they turned up their noses and are their dry dog food.

We have eaten at your location several times and the one in Woodville a couple times. We have now moved near Livingston from south of Houston. We need one in Livingston or Cleveland!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or both! There several fast food resteraunts and Mexican resteraunts. But Nothing like home cooked food. PLEASE HELP!!!

Try the sweet heat grilled catfish. I ordered this the last few times. Great every time. Enough for me to bring home for lunch the next day with the small.

Make it a point to stop there whenever we are traveling through and we have NEVER had any sort of problem!! The Pot Pie is to die for. The place is always packed so that should be an indication. These bad reviews sound like 8 year old's whose parents (if they know who they are) are on the front porch or better yet, the competition!!

The food was horrible. Many kitchen violations were being broken. Pretty sure my waiter was 12 years old. I saw roaches crawling on the windows. The managers were rude when I complained. Who is this business ran by? I would advise no one to go there unless you want to see hair and rodents in your food. Oh and it also seems like some illegal activity is going on in the kitchen if ya know what I mean.

The food is good but when when they serve the food all food needs to be hot. The rolls should be hot, too.
