The staff is friendly and the establishment is well-maintained. The loaded potato and catfish dinner were enjoyable, although I would have preferred more tea available for refills. Overall, it's a decent spot with tasty options like mac and green beans, fried okra, and a satisfying chicken quarter.

Please get rid of at least half of the rude workers at your Sealy Hinze Barbecue Restaurant. This place is disgusting and down right horrible. All the employees are arguing with each other. Many many people are getting lunches for free because they just decide it's going to be free. But others have to pay. So much bad illegal crap is going on at this restaurant it's unbelievable. Handcuff them and take them to a jail. Never let them out.
Do you have a boss or manager at this location who has a backbone to control the illegal sh... that's going on. ???

This Hinze's restaurant is so old and so nasty inside. If you sit in the booth next to the door you will see some heavy powder. I'm not exaggerating. I'm telling anyone who frequents this restaurant that it is really dirty inside and when the workers serve the food it is never covered with plastic lids. No one cares at all

We love their fried catfish plates and the fried shrimp plates for lunch. Then we take home ribs or chopped beef for supper. Yummy!!
