The food at this place is consistently good, and the wait staff is efficient and attentive. I prefer paying with cash for a smoother transaction. The catfish dish I had was perfectly seasoned, not greasy, and the accompanying pinto beans and tomato relish were excellent. The restaurant has a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of old fish camps, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Are they going by votes or reviews, because there seems to be an issue with their Extremely thin catfish fillets. You may get one that's a decent thickness, but truly, you're eating mostly breading.
They're crawfish are a hit and miss. Sometimes they're pretty good, other times, you wish you didn't order them with so many dead ones before the boil.

Eat here every chance we get. Drive 60+ miles. Staff is so friendly and service tops. Oh and food delicious. Fish filets from heaven.

I was going to order cheese burger and onion rings until I found out the onion rings were classified as appetizers and they were SIX DOLLARS MORE! Hushpuppies has been removed from my favorites list. Very disappointed.

Didn't stay to eat. No one working was wearing a mask except the people in the back. I used to love this place before they thought the pandemic was a joke.
