I understand occasionally you might have a disappointing meal, but Jax is generally our go to place. We have been going there for years and always enjoy the food. Try it you won't be disappointed.

06/28/2023 - They deceived me then treated me horribly and then lied on my name about what happened!
I went to pick up a take-out order from Jax and they seemed confused or something when I got there for some reason and told me it would be 5 more minutes until it was ready.
That was fine, 5 minutes isn't a big deal.
After 20 literal minutes of waiting inside the restaurant for food that was supposed to be ready for my takeout order when I arrived, I approached the counter again and politely asked why the food wasn't ready yet after 20 minutes when they said they just needed 5 more minutes.
The manager then got really loud and rude with me and cried out "I'm training new people and everything is slow and blah blah blah. Eventually, she admitted that they lost my ticket and had to remake all the food, and it turns out that's why I had to wait a substantial amount of time more than they told me I would.
The manager then said, "we're not supposed to tell the customers when we lose their orders."
I then politely said, "if you would have just been honest with me in the first place when I got here that you had lost my order ticket and hadn't even started making my order yet, I would have left and gotten something else that would have been ready faster, (because I was absolutely starving,) which is why I ordered ready-to-go carry out food.
Instead of being honest, she made me wait a long time for food they hadn't even started making yet, then proceeded to yell at me for asking why they made me wait an extra 20 minutes for a takeout order.
It was all so awkwardly disrespectful and preventable and unnecessary that I didn't go back there for months.
Months later, when I tried them out again, one of the employees relayed the information to me about what their manager had lied and told them pertaining to what happened that day. The manager had lied to this front desk employee and said that I came in to her restaurant "mad at the world."
That couldn't be any farther from the truth!
I was super calm when I asked why they took an extra 20 minutes for a takeout order after my arrival.
I was super calm when she told me they lost my ticket and that that's why they made me wait so long cause they had to start making my food when I got their cause they lost my order.
I was super calm when I explained that if they would have been honest, I wouldn't have stayed to begin with.
They tricked me into doing business with them by lying about my order being missing and getting me to stay while I was starving, then yelled at me for politely asking why they didn't just tell me the truth in the first place about losing my order.
It's a shame that one blonde woman works there, she's not fit for leadership. The food was pretty decent but they don't deserve anyone's service and I hope they close down and something new shows up in it's place because as far as I'm concerned this place is forever tainted. Peace.

We love driving there occasionally BUT last time we went the girl working the front was incredibly rude. We did not appreciate her attitude at all. Will not be back.

Clean restaurant and friendly people. The food is wonderful. I have had their burgers that I think are the best around. And I loved their club sandwich. My husband said the steak sandwich was the best. Nice family restaurant.

Cute little restaurant. It was very clean and the staff was really helpful with suggestions when ordering. My food was amazing! Big Dirty w/combo! Can't wait to come back and try something different. They have so many options. Salads, soups, BIG potatoes, fish, sandwiches, boudain balls, fried pickles, homemade onion rings and the best burgers. Really want to try a salad next time. They looked awesome.

the waitress was very rude and not helpful she even refused to fix our order. our fries were very cold. we asked too warm them up. she said we don't have a microwave. even Dairy Queen has a microwave and they are an ice cream place.
