kind of pricey for a burger & most everything else - service was good - wait was a little long, but main objection is price. I know inflation was up but has come down some but $15 for a burger and chips? -- nah!

Yesterday, Feb 23rd my wife and I went to Jerry's Restaurant in Onalaska to celebrate her birthday. Brenda wanted a chicken fried steak so off we went as Jerry's has some of the best food in this area. Ms. Jean is the fourth generation owner so if a restaurant stays in business that long the food must be good. As usual the food was excellent as was Michel our server.
The food here is always fresh tasting plus the kitchen staff gets it to you fast.
Thank you Ms. Jean, Michel and everyone in the restaurant for making Brenda's birthday lunch a good one!
We were the only ones eating outside.

The food is great. The only complaint I have is when a customer is waiting on their to go order, the staff shouldn't complain about how the to go orders are putting them behind. It made me feel as if my business wasn't as important as the dine in customers

Came in for breakfast...not
many people there; however, service slow. By the time our meal arrived, it was very cold. Have not been back...

Food is usually good. Service can be slow, slow and you can feel ignored. We were there tonight and they were not very busy, but one waitress ignored one of her tables after she took them their drinks. She never went back to take their orders. They finally got up and left. Several people complained. One couple with the bad waitress were there when we got there and we were half finished when they finally got their food. The waitress was too busy playing with the electronic juke box.

Great! There are high and low sides to EVERY restaurant. Every cook and waitress can have an off day or even a fantastic day. I'm from Livingston and the drive to Onalaska is definitely worth it. Meatloaf on Mondays, with black eyed peas & cornbread with desert. See if you can find that in the overpriced fast food joints. Their price is very fair, considering the amount of food you get. It has a pleasing down home family look. If you want real fancy, then waste your gas and go to Houston. dreamcraft.us

I have driven by this location many times and never had the chance to stop in, I am sure glad I did. We had a wonderful meal the other night, the resteraunt was clean and the waitstaff were very friendly. It is beautiful inside, very warm and inviting. I had a Chicken Fried Steak that was probably the most tender that I have had before and the breading was just perfect. I had the regular or half size and it was still very large, I would go back anytime
