The catfish dinner and green tomato pickles were delicious, and the service was excellent. My family also enjoyed the beef BBQ sandwich, pork BBQ sandwich, and cheeseburgers on cheddar jalapeño buns at this diner with a pleasant staff and a diner atmosphere. The BBQ combination plate with pork, beef, and smoked sausage was unique and tasty, and the peach cobbler for dessert was to die for. The location is convenient off I-20, making it a great stop for travelers looking for good food and friendly service.

For a BBQ restaurant they have the best fried fish around! Everything that I have had here has been top notch, from the service to the clean restrooms. Friendly place with great food!!!

We ate there a few nights ago & everything was great! We had a BBQ sandwich along with 2 pieces of fish. We will be going back again real soon!

During this COVID craziness it's great to finally start getting back to normal, and I had my first sit down meal in three months at Jim's BBQ. The food is amazing!!! I only wish it was closer to Longview!

Doubt that the barbecue is good, however, if you love fried catfish this is the place to eat it. I suggest getting it with the Cajun coating. Just a hint of spice to give it that special Cajun twist. For roadside joint we give it a five.
