Great food, I don't appreciate Carmen the waitress taking someone else order before she gets our order. This has happened 2 times we would get there first to sit down and she goes and helps the other people first. She has messed up my order, forgets bringing the guacamole, don't asked us for tea refills, no extra napkins we asked for never brings the napkins. I love Eva and Miguel, other waiters and waitresses good job you asked them for something they bring it right away. Thank you. We go there a lot to eat. Thank you.

I have been eating in this restaurant for about 20 years. It changed management (sort of) and names but a lot of the staff remained and the food has always been the best in the San Antonio area. I have been to more than 50 Mexican food restaurants all over Bexar county and this has been my favorite the whole time. Long drive for me, but worth it every time. Everything was fixed the way I would make it at home and it is just wonderful.

Horrible experience ! This sh-tty place is making money off of those people that have no clue about Mexican Food ! The place also smells so bad. The food we ordered was cold and dry !

Isaac and Thommie are the best servers . Always keeping your tea and water glass full. Coming back to ask if you need anything else, and food is the best. $

Awesome and fabulous wondering if I pay cash, for a single plate specials could they run my order to parking lot? Cause my dog rides with me everywhere and to hot to leave in vehicle to pickup

We are so glad the original La Tortillita is back. We love Isaac and Tommy as our waiters, many years. Food is always good, people are friendly. New Manager or owner is very good. Phone number on Menu-Pix is incorrect (old) and also on Facebook. Needs to be updated.

I put one star because it's the lowest I can put. I can honestly say I have never felt so forgotten in a restaurant in my life. My family decided to go here for my mom and dad's 28th anniversary. We were seated in the far back of the restaurant and the waitress immediately took our drink and food order. About 10 min. later they brought us some chips with our drinks. 45 min. Later we had been out of chips and in need of refills on drinks. We just sat there watching everyone else being waited on. Our waitress refilled our drinks but never refilled our chips. We noticed other waiters in the restaurant talking to each other and looking at us. We ended up sitting there for about and hour and 45 min. with no food in sight. We wanted to leave a few times before we did but decided to give them a chance. Our kids were falling asleep at the table. We talked to the manager and she was more than happy to let us leave unhappy saying we could just pay for our drinks. Then said don't worry about paying for them. She never once went to investigate to see what the problem was. No one had a reason for letting us sit there forgotten in the back of the restaurant. I'm not sure if this is normal practice for them but we felt like the employees there wanted to get rid of us by not serving us food.
