I've dined at this Italian restaurant multiple times and the food is consistently good, especially the pizza. There was only one dish I didn't enjoy (calamari), but everything else I've tried has been fantastic. The service is always great, and I find myself coming back for their delicious white pizza or lobster ravioli.
04/11/2020 - Price Gauging
I had been buying from this Place for 20 years, even thought in the past the food quality has been sub par I figured I would try it again. I called Salis to place the order and the woman from HELL answered. On 4/9/2020 I called to place an order of $75 when I noticed that the Price Gauging was being done and prices were about 25% higher. I felt they were taking Advantage of the situation this woman who's English is extremely poor and broken got extremely mad because I was questioning the prices. she then told me to either take it or hang up so,I hung up.
The next day on 4/10/2020 this woman had the nerve to call my cell phone and cuss me out, yelling and screaming at me, because I posted reviews telling people what happened and that I felt they were price gauging. Look at their menu on line, and compare to what they charge, and you will see the difference in the price gauging. I hung up one her and called VILLA VINCI in Wylie TX this place was exactly the same food as Salis, it was cheaper and much, much, better quality, trust me you can see it on the chicken and on the meat as well as the cheese. After speaking to an employee to make sure they are not affiliated with Salis, I was told the owner used to work for Salis and left because they were so rude with customers and worse with employees. The same thing I experienced, bottom line, I was banned from the restaurant and I am very, very happy it happened, so I can continue buying from Villa Vinci and I suggest you try as well and you too will see the difference in treatment and quality..... I have ordered pizza for years, closest to New York pizza around. Ordered pizza 02/10/16 - disgusting, could hava gotten frozen pizza at grocery store that tasted better, never order from here again, big waste of money!
