Our waitress was exceptional, but the food was disappointing during my uncle's 80th birthday gathering.

We eat at Cotton Patch often and the food is always good. The corn bread and Fried Green tomatoes are especially good. The only time I had a problem was when I ordered the Chicken fried Steak and the only put about a tablespoon of gravy on a really huge piece of meat. I asked for more gravy and the waitress brought me a little paper cup with about another tablespoon of gravy....I don't know about yall, but I'm use to having gravy on my chicken fried steak enough to cover most of the steak! They also have very good "heart smart" menu items which is hard to find in most restaurants.

We ate at Cotton Patch tonight and the experience was not a pleasant one. My seafood trio was cold (not even a tad warm). I asked to have my food heated up and didn't get it back until everyone was finished eating and ready to leave. In addition to that my son's steamed broccoli was raw and the waitress overcharged us. The experience left a sour taste in my mouth and it will be quite some time before we return.
