The chips and salsa here are a must-have for any Mexican food lover, and the chimichangas are my go-to dish. I've always had friendly service, and even when there was an issue with my wife's meal, they made it right and really took care of us.

Took a group there, and some of us were hoping to use the coupons that were in the Savearound coupon book, which offered a BOGO (for this specific location). Well, the food was honestly not very good overall, as compared to several other Toledo-area Mexican restaurants I've been to over the last few years (spinach enchiladas were actually greasy, for example). Also, the worst thing is they refused to take the coupons, even though they were for this actual location of Cinco De Mayo, and the owner/manager was kinda rude about it, too. Earlier in our visit to this restaurant, I also observed the owner or manager yelling at his employees in the front of the restaurant, which was kind of upsetting to me as well (do this in back, not in the restaurant area, if at all). I felt bad for the employees, because they did not seem happy, and were overworked and seemed to be unappreciated as well. Having worked with businesses for 33 years in my work as a consultant, I recognize management issues when I see them. I hope the owner takes my review as constructive criticism, because if he works on making things better with the workers he has there, I think there's still hope for making this into a great establishment. For comparison's sake, our group went to the Airport Highway Cinco De Mayo, and we had a great time there a while back, so that was a positive experience at a fellow Cinco De Mayo restaurant.
