I've been a loyal customer at China Pavilion since 1995, and even though I moved away for a while, I always make sure to stop by when I'm in town. The food is consistently delicious, especially the extra spicy steamed wontons and kung pao chicken.

Still my favorite restaurant in Topeka since a friend recommended it to me 30 years ago.

The buffet has more true variety than any Chinese buffet restaurant I have found in Kansas because even though the number of buffet selections is smaller than some of the huge places, each dish has a completely unique flavor and presentation, and each one is absolutely delicious.

In the huge places all those different looking things seem to have about the same flavor. Everything is good, but nothing is great.

At China Pavilion I love that I can start eating fresh food as soon as I go in the door, with no waiting. I love that friendly people are paying attention to me if I need anything, but not bothering me if I don't. I love that I can get enough to eat of whatever I like at a fair price, and I love the way I feel like saying "wow" with each bite of the exquisite food. I always send my complements to the chef when I am leaving, and I can always afford to leave a generous tip.

Any time I eat anyplace else in Topeka, no matter how good it is, I can't help thinking that I could have eaten at China Pavilion. * * * * * * Yes, that's six stars.

Defiantly one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever ate at. I would recommend this eating establishment to anyone... if you have never tried Chinese/Asian food before than this would defiantly be the place to try it.

Best Chinese buffet in Topeka, Ks. I eat there AT LEAST once a week. Small selection, but has the best items. Would suggest to anyone looking for delicious chinese food at a fantastic price! ($5.95 for lunch, $6.95 for dinner.) EAT HERE! You will NOT regret it, unless your stomach isn't used to chinese food! Then you might regret it later! You know you want awesome chinese food for cheap, so just go!
