Caldense Bakery in Whitby offers a wide variety of freshly baked breads, pastries, and light meals. The Chicken Caesar Wrap and Portuguese-style grilled pork sandwich were flavorful and satisfying, while the assortment of pastries, like the pineapple-topped bun, were delicious treats worth trying. The cozy bakery, shared with Tina's Portuguese Cuisine, provides a pleasant dining experience with friendly service and a good selection of baked goods to enjoy.

The tarts are so amazing. The two young girls at the front seemed very sad though. No hello or any conversation. I felt like I was 'annoying' them by coming in. Not a great feeling.

Decided to finally try this bakery. Heard the good , the bad & the ugly on this place in the past. Went to a few bakeries recently and disappointed in all for freshness, taste & service. Caldense Bakery was very clean, presentable and had a great variety of goodies. We bought several varieties, hard to choose :) We had great friendly service, and even received a discount for buying several goodies.All pastries, bars & cake slices were very fresh and all delicious :) Especially the cannoli's! We'll be back for sure! Highly recommend this bakery to all!
