This place has good food, a great building, and great line level workers combined with the most horrific management team you ever saw. I will preface this by stating that I have 15+ years experience in bartending, serving, and managing said positions. I watched a tall bearded lead bartender do virtually nothing while he watched two young girls named Michelle and Katie hustle just to keep up with the volume. I couldn't believe what I was seeing until I saw tall beard boys supervisor- a portly sedentary type who kicked me out immediately for saying that his buddy doesn't do any good work. I tipped the girls heavily and left. Came back the next day with my husky Beauregard because it's a good place for pets. Then a salt and pepper short haired manager asked me if I had a problem there yesterday. I said that I had no problem other than the management's reaction to my contention that beard boy does no good work and his portly sedentary type supervisor allows it. Well salt and pepper short haired manager apparently follows the same managerial style as his plump protoge because he kicked me out immediately. Apparently the customer is always WRONG at Craft Republic. I've since moved my business networking to a friendlier clime and will use the full force of my company and extensive north Tucson network to dissuade any and all people AWAY from Craft Republic. I really hate doing that because it's a first class building and the line level folks are outstanding. Hat tip to Michelle and Katie, you ladies should be in charge because you already are!
