This past December 27 was my most recent visit to the restaurant in the Inn. I had gone there on November 11 and the service was stupendous that evening. Robert was our waiter (looked like the only one) and we were 5 ladies.
This last visit I have to be honest, the service was less than mediocre. Robert spent an enormous amount of time visiting with a table of 4 and seemed to ignore our table of 7 women.
Our dinner reservation was for 7:15 and we were seated right away, but we did not get out of there until 10:00. The food was barely warm (cannelloni), two of the women stated.
I had to pay the entire bill as individual bills were not permitted. If several women are in attendance it should stand to reason that separate checks would be issued. (Our November checks were allowed individually)!
I only left a 15% tip because we did not receive the attention I think we deserved.
I hope my next visit will turn out better.
