This local diner near Sand Springs serves an excellent breakfast with generous portions. The service is efficient, the staff is friendly, and the food is consistently good.

The place has an old time diner charm to it with humorous little signs all around. The waitresses are friendly and the cook is down right amazing. They have a Chicken Cashew Salad (Cobb salad with seasoned grilled (or fried) chicken and cashews) that will make you 'slap your grandma', it's that good. Their fried pickles are battered with tempura and are light and crispy, and addictive.
Don't walk but RUN. A little bit of advice, on Sundays they close at 2pm.

Very nice local dinner. Good food at great prices. It's what you expect, they just do a very good job of being an old fashioned, local down-home diner.

I have been coming to the Crescent since the 1990's. Food has always been tasty and well done. Their chicken fried steak is legendary... I've seen folks taking a picture of this tasty plate. The whole menu gives selections for just about every taste and age. When slammed with a full house, service can be a bit slow even though the wait staff flies around. However, in passing, they do keep your iced tea glass well stocked. When folks keep coming in not just at breakfast and lunch but all day, that could say the Crescent has earned and become a trusted and enjoyed eating institution. Myself, it is about a 15 mile drive each way, which I gladly make several times a month. TV's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives show could easily do a visit to our Crescent Cafí©.
