The breakfast at this place is truly delicious, especially the Belgium waffles with bacon. The staff serving us were very attentive and provided excellent service. Despite the small and simple setting, the food quality, service, and prices make it a fantastic choice for a satisfying meal.

We have gone to Steak & Egg to eat on special occasions like Thanksgiving & Christmas, birthdays. The food is usually good & service. But this last Valentines 2-14-14 it was very bad in service & on food. The waitress who took our order was very rude & didn't bring all our order. Both my wife ordered fish, mine the catfish and her cod with the baked potato, veg and their clam chowder as the meal soup. We didn't get our clam chowder before the meal plus it wasn't soup it was a dry paste with a bad fishy taste. Plus my wife didn't get her corn as a vegetable.Also didn't get any tarter sauce for our fish or drink refills. Our baked potato was cold & our fish tasted like it was a frozen bought from the store. The catfish was suppose of been fresh, it also tasted like store bought also. We was charge for 1.99 for the clam chowder instead of .99. When we took to pay & brought that we was over charge for the chowder. That's when the waitress told us that was only if we substituted it for the vegetable for .99 cent. She did not tell us that plus we had got the soup before & wasn't charge that much extra before. Then my wife reminded that she never got the corn. The waitress just looked us like we shouldn't be there & just walked off with no sorry for anything.. The cashier did take off the chowder. But the attitude & food that night we will never be back. :(
