Since 1958, the Dehn family has owned and operated Dehn’s Country Manor, which offers reasonably priced, home-style meals. The country air relaxes and soothes after a long day. The huge stone fireplace welcomes and warms guests on a chilly night. Ample portions, entrées served with salad, bread and potatoes and a hearty selection of menu choices keep diners coming back year after year. Specials include broiled walleye, T-bone steaks and barbecued pork ribs. Originally, the Dehn family raised their own cattle on the property, which led to a reputation for excellent beef. Casual is the theme of the day and locals love to gather family members of all ages around the large dining tables. Wine and beer are available from the bar. If you prefer ardent spirits, bring your own—bartenders will provide set ups and you can add the liquor of your choice. Throughout the years, Dehn’s has become the favorite spot for groom’s dinners held before a wedding. Breakfast and brunch are served on weekends. Bring the whole family to Dehn’s Country Manor for a good, old-fashioned dining experience.

My husband, daughter and I visited this establishment tonight. Service was slow and the waitress acted as if she was mad that we even came in. No one smiles or even said thankyou. The food, deep fried mushrooms, were still frozen inside and my daughter's pork tenderloin was flat, dry and tough; looked as if it came from a box. Where is food made from scratch anymore. Yuk! I will never return to this place. Customer service and food l acking courtesy and creativity. Wish for homemade not frozen food and a smile!

This has been a favorite restaurant for many many years, we are bringing 5th generation for special occasions. The BBQ ribs are a favorite, but we have never had a bad meal. Just today we had a family gathering of 12. They were cordial, the server took all our orders and did not mess up a single order. Some had breakfast/brunch and others had lunch. Even the vegetarians found good options on the salad menu with fruit and veggie plates. A person near me had the Tex-Mex burrito and not only was it enormous, but she said it was excellent.
Laid back, clean, friendly, the perfect place after a round of golf at the course down the street. A good place for celebrations and just for gathering with family and friends. They make you feel like you can stay as long as you like.
A very good choice and worth the drive away from the city.

I wouldn't recommed going there when their serving "family style" like on Mother's Day. We had seven men and 5 women and one child. First of all it took forever (about 1/2 hour to get our first platter which was basically bacon, ham and sausage which didn't even make it around the whole table before being gone. When we asked for more it took about 15-29 minutes to get our second round and the waitress didn't even bring ham this time. I had to ask for it. My impression was they gave you as little food as possible because they were simply being cheap. The cost was $14.95 a person, not worth it at all, it should have been more like $9.00 a person. They made a killing on customers on that day. We'll be going somewhere that's a little nicer for Father's Day and pay the same amount.
