The warm and welcoming staff at this local pizzeria fulfilled my request for a specific pizza, serving it directly to my table. Although some of the buffet items had cooled from sitting out, the establishment was clean and inviting, offering a wide array of choices including manicotti and green beans. The delicious pizza and well-stocked salad bar make this a top dining choice for me whenever I am in town, despite the slight price difference compared to other options.

We have been going to Ken's for years but today may be our last visit. The restaurant was dirty from the front door to the salad and pizza bars. The salad bar had been wiped with a too wet rag and only managed to drag chopped egg and dressings all over the place. The pizza bar was just as bad with crumbs and pizza drippings. The tables, though wiped in the middle were a mass of crumbs and goo under the napkins, cheese, etc. There was no question that Ken's used to have the best salad bar in Tyler, not any more. Also, we arrived at 11:26 pm on Saturday and there were only about 10 customers in the whole place. Hopefully, things will change.

Food was great. The owner needs to visit this store or they will be out of business. We sat in the booth section. Three tables were occupied, the rest had not been bussed. Five employees stood and talked by the cash register the whole time we were there. We never saw a waitress. The man making pizza's was fantastic, one of the few people working in the restaurant. With so many businesses closing during these economically tough times, owner's need to employ competent staff. If some company owns Ken's Pizza, and not an individual, please disregard this note. That is just how big business is run.
