After driving 3.5 hours to interview here per her invitation, Jen couldn't give my boyfriend the decency of a proper response after saying she would get back to him in a few days. She ignored follow up emails (why is there no business phone???) and finally responded IMMEDIATELY only when it concerned her "good" image on social media. I wish I could leave a recording of the voicemail she left me (after she deleted my comments and blocked me) full of excuses about a "family emergency not like it's anyone's business" (lol) that took a "few days" when we had been waiting over 10 days for a carrier pigeon message, anything. So problematic on so many levels. If you want to do business then it is peoples business Jennifer. Apparently your employees are not people? She also has the nerve to say that my boyfriend will not be able to work there "or anywhere in town" because "it's a small town and people talk." Yes, including me Jen, I am allowed to talk to even if you don't like what I have to say. Also, who made you the mayor of Ojai? You act like you run this town. You're from Maine get over yourself. In the meantime she had time to hire someone else and post images on her IG...but no, she could not take 30 seconds out of her precious time to give us some response so that we can move on with our lives. Because other people have lives too, Jen. She attempted to silence me on social media and accused me of "slander" and "prepubescent name calling" for simply calling out her lazy and rude inactions. Jen is clearly only concerned about her image and not how she actually treats people. This place is the epitome of pretentious and I'm actually so glad my boyfriend doesn't have to work there.
