The Beautiful Baguettes are a must-try, but every visit inspires me to sample something new, like the incredibly flavorful fruit tarts. The service is always exceptional, and the ambiance creates a perfect backdrop for a meal, especially when sitting outside to enjoy the ocean air. With delicious options like the eggs benedict and the seafood crepe, this restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites in the area.

Great service and food!

Great food and pastries. Known the owners for over 20 years. Friendly and accommodating, but they do not put up with rude people. It can get hectic, so don't go there if you are in a hurry. It's meant to be a relaxing dining experience. Enjoy it. Few places like it.

I'm new to the Ventura area and thought I'd give Le Petit Cafe a try. Words cannot describe the nastiness of the red headed co-owner. She is not fit to interact with customers in any business in any capacity. She ought to be relegated to some back office job where no customer has to contend with her miserable and offensive behavior. I never ordered from their bakery case because she effectively refused service to me. While other Le Petit Cafe staffers were simply standing around behind the counter, she tried to convince me that their bakery counter needed to close for 30 minutes because they were "understaffed." When I asked if I could take a seat in the main part of the Le Petit Cafe restaurant to order a pastry, she replied, "No, not necessarily" with a surly snap. Just as well, I guess, because, like I say, the contents of that bakery case were beyond iffy. I was just hungry! Anyways, it's a shame there aren't many other bakery choices in the Ventura area because that red headed skank makes the French look friendly. One can only hope Corner Bakery or Panera or another reasonable chain bakery that knows how to treat customers opens right next door her and puts her out of our misery.
