Service was great. Had biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were hard as a rock. Most likely several years old.

We oner our Frist Respondors! Busboys made to wear shirts with a cribbed Public Enemy album design saying “Public Nuisance”. Bad food, GQP vibes, big stupid banners everywhere like they didn’t squander their PPP loans on “redecorating” to make it look like a libertarian greasy spoon. Covid friendly!

Been there twice - thought I'd give it a second chance for the ambiance...
first experience, crab cake benedict
greasy tasted like frozen crab cakes (we're at the beach folks) potatoes not fully cooked. We went with a large party and we didn't realized till after we paid - for someone else's food on our ticket, wasn't worth the hassle at that point per my hubby.
Second time I took a dear God-daughter. I ordered just biscuits n sausage gravy - easy right...down right tasteless the biscuit was about 1 in. high, split 1/2 the gravy was just bad..no flavor the sausage looked like bits of pepper,. I had to salt it 3xs to get flavor, then added tabasco to help and that's the flavor I had tabasco. I should have sent it back, my guest ordered pancakes, w/ bananas- chocolate chips.
hot chocolate. NO FLAVOR!! I tried the pancake without the bananas/choc chips - not even the syrup helped - hot chocolate watered down. My coffee was ok and the whipped cream in the hot chocolate. The kicker, the waitress gave me the wrong receipt ticket! I didn't want to embarrass the waitress.. I let cashier know how terrible the food was I don't think she cared, didn't even offer to give
a drink discount - which is something I would have done. She said i will let the owner know, my hope is she did - don't think so... Regardless... I will never return to this place.
They need a Kitchen manager to make sure what is going out is quality...the prices are high and then there's the Harbor taxes add on, not including a tip, which I did leave one. Lets just say I could have been happy at McDonalds for breakfast that day!

Terrible, overpriced food and zero health and safety guidelines were being followed. If they're this blatant about no obeying COVID guidelines, I can only imagine how disgusting their kitchen is or the abuse their staff faces behind closed doors. I've been eating here for decades and the food has done nothing but go down hill. If you want the same experience as the old Mrs. Olson's, go to Hollywood Beach Cafe. This restaurant has been nothing but terrible since they moved
